I had already bought the Jamie Haller so didn't consider them. I do like a clean jean as Robyn mentioned, but then the J. Crew look very similar to a Celine pair (especially the hem) that some people love, so they might be good.
I’m not Jennifer, but I had looked at the J Crew jeans and it was the extra distressing, wash, and details at the hem that dissuaded me from getting them. Jeans without a lot of bells and whistles are my cup of tea.
I agree with both of you. Sometimes you just want a nice pair of clean jeans with no bells and whistles that fit great. Jaime’s seem to be all about that.
Ha! Such similar concepts I explored in some of my recent posts- love when something is in the ether - it makes me feel “with it!” lol. With that said I also bought the Slouch jeans and I’m obsessed!!! I sized down as well and they’re perfection. Fun read!
Jennifer, curious as to why you didn’t buy the J.Crew jeans? Was it the wash?

Yes. Perhaps that is it. Or the fact that I once had a pair of jeans with the same hem detail and it was a one-and-done for me!

Thanks Sogole. I hope you enjoy your jeans too!
