If you’re on the East Coast, this rainy weekend might be the perfect time to spend a few hours editing your closet and thinking about what is missing, what no longer works and what you have and still love. Instead of thinking of clothes as a costume, we should learn to treat them as our signature—a symbol of who we are and who we strive to be. From my years of experience, the people I’ve come to meet and know who have the best style (some are quite famous for it) learn to stick with what works and rarely stray from their core favorites. They are known for their signature style; the result of their keen eye and constant editing.
